Colonel Przemysław Przybylak assumed his present duties as a Senior Military Advisor on Cybersecurity at Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Poland to NATO, NATO Headquarters in Brussels in September 2020.
He previously served as a Commander of Cyberspace Defence Forces Command Forming Group, National Cyber Security Centre, Ministry of National Defence Republic of Poland form March 2020 until September 2021.
A native of Ozorków, Łódź province, COL Przybylak is a graduate of Military University of Technology, Warsaw, where he was promoted to 2LT.
He assumed his first post as a Post Commander/C2 Commander in 1998.
COL Przybylak has held technical and command positions across all levels of the Polish Armed Forces and Ministry of National Defence Republic of Poland.
In the years 2016-2020, as the Commander of the Cyber Operations Centre, he commanded the first military unit in the Polish Armed Forces that carried out full-scale activities and operations in cyberspace.
COL Przybylak is a graduate of the University of Technology and Life Sciences, Bydgoszcz where he received his M.Sc. at the Department of Telecommunications, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and finished postgraduate studies at the Koźminski University, Warsaw, where he received Master of Business Administration IT.
He completed an International Program on Cyber Security Studies at The College of International and Security Studies at George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
COL Przybylak is an expert in the field of ICT systems security assessment. He has extensive experience in managing teams conducting security assessments, audits and penetration testing of ICT systems. He also has knowledge and experience related to the designing, implementing, administering security and secure delivering of ICT systems and services in accordance with generally accepted standards.
COL Przybylak holds numerous certificates relates to ICT security and management, i.e.: CISSP, C|EH, OSCP, BSI ISO/IEC 27001 LA, ITIL® v3 Foundation, PRINCE2™ Foundation, NSA & CNSS 4013 System Administrator. He has knowledge of CISCO network technologies at the CCNA/CCNP Security level and VMware virtualization at the VCP DCV level.
