Colonel Przemysław Przybylak has been serving at the Polish Cyber Command in Legionowo since August 1, 2025. From September 2021 to July 2025, he held the position of Senior Military Advisor for Cybersecurity at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Poland to NATO in Brussels.
Colonel Przybylak is a graduate of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant. He began his military career in 1998 as a post commander and commander of the automated command system in a radio engineering company.
Throughout his service, he has held technical and command positions at all levels within the structures of the Polish Armed Forces and the Ministry of National Defence. From 2016 to 2020, he commanded the Cyber Operations Center which was the first military unit in Poland to conduct full-time cyberspace operations. Between March 2020 and August 2021, he served as Commander of the Organizational Group for the Formation of the Cyberspace Defense Force Command at the National Cyberspace Security Center.
Colonel Przybylak holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. He also completed postgraduate studies in the MBA IT program at the Leon Kozminski University in Warsaw.
He is a graduate of the International Program on Cyber Security Studies at the College of International and Security Studies, George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
An expert in ICT system security assessment, he has extensive experience in managing teams conducting security evaluations, audits, and penetration testing. He also has practical knowledge in designing, implementing, and delivering ICT systems and services in line with recognized standards, as well as in managing their security.
He holds numerous technical certifications in ICT security management, including: CISSP, C|EH, OSCP, BSI ISO/IEC 27001 LA, ITIL® v3 Foundation, PRINCE2™ Foundation, and NSA & CNSS 4013 System Administrator. He is also proficient in CISCO networking technologies at the CCNA/CCNP Security level and VMware virtualization at the VCP DCV level.
