Col Marcin Piwowarczyk serves as Head of the Didactic Branch at the Expert Cyber Security Training Centre. Previously, he was Deputy Chief of the Cyber Operations Team of the Territorial Defence Forces Command where he effectively built task forces by planning, programming and implementing training for individual team members.

In 2006, he graduated from WAT and began his military service as a programmer at the ON Centre for Informatics and Communications. During his service in this unit, he had the opportunity to participate in the design, implementation and deployment of many IT systems, which to this day
successfully support the operations of military units at every level of command.

In 2014, he began his service in the Inspectorate for the Implementation of Innovative Defence Technologies, where he used his previous experience as a specialist of the Database Division. During his service, the I3TO took part in a number of projects at the national and international level analysing the legitimacy of implementing new and innovative technologies into the Polish Armed Forces. The next stage of his service was the transition to the Training Division of the Territorial Defence Forces Command, where he dealt mainly with remote education as the Head of the Distance Education Department. From the ground up, he and his subordinate staff built a system where several thousand, soldiers received training every day.

At the ECSC, Colonel Piwowarczyk uses his professional experience and technical expertise to oversee the quality of training.
