Wojciech Dąbrowski

President of the Management Board, SET Foundation

Manager with many years of experience of working in large capital groups, government and local government administration. He dealt with investment and legal advice.

He organized capital group structures, optimized costs and maximized the benefits for enterprises. For 15 years, closely associated with the energy industry, as the president of the board, he managed the largest energy entities in Poland: PGNiG Termika (Grupa Orlen), PGE Energia Ciepła and in 2020-2024 as the president of the Polish Grupa Energetyczna SA (PGE S, A).

In the years 2018-2024, the chairman of the Supervisory Board in the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ SA) one of the largest armaments enterprises in Europe.

He conducted the process of integration with the PGE heating assets group purchased from the French EDF and the purchase of PKP Energetyka (currently PGE Energetyka Kolejowa).

He supervised large -scale infrastructure projects in the energy sector. As the president of PGE, he began and implemented in cooperation with the World Offshore leader Ørsted the largest project in the Polish energy sea wind farms in the Baltic Sea. He coordinated the construction of a nuclear power plant with PAK and Korean KHNP.

He co -founded the government plan to separate coal assets from energy groups as a necessary condition for energy transformation in Poland.

He managed the process of creating and implementing the PGE Group Strategy until 2030 with the perspective of climate neutrality by 2050. From 2024 a member of the Council for Strategic Development Projects at the President of the Republic of Poland. A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw.
