Vice-Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania, responsible for civil resistance readiness, mobilisation, resilience to cyber threats, cyber security, crisis management, civil safety within the national defence system, and strategic communication.
From 2019 to 2024, he served as National Security Advisor to the President of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as Secretary of the State Defence Council (2019–2020) and Secretary of the National Total Defence Coordination Board (2023–2024). Previously, he worked as Assistant to the Land Force Commander for Logistics (2018–2019). Since 2002, he has served in the Lithuanian Armed Forces, holding various positions in the Iron Wolf Infantry Brigade, Defence Staff divisions, and the Armed Forces Headquarters, with multinational deployments including Afghanistan.
