An experienced security expert, professor at the University of Warsaw, head of NASK Publishing House. Winner of the 4th Edition of the Equality Leaders Poll in the category of Innovators in Science and New Technologies. She is an expert at the EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation in the panel on social resilience. As part of her pro bono work with Women in International Security (WIIS), she serves as Secretary General, promoting the UN Women, Peace and Security Agenda. As founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Applied Cybersecurity & Internet Governance, published by NASK-PIB, she promotes a human-centred approach to cybersecurity. She is the author and co-author of numerous publications on terrorism and radicalisation research; her latest book, Humans in the Cyber Loop: Perspectives on Societal Cybersecurity, co-authored with D. Domalewska and A. Wrońska, was published by the prestigious Brill publishing house (2025).
