Grzegorz Mazurek is the Rector of Kozminski University, a full professor specialising in the digital transformation of organisations, e-commerce and e-marketing. He is particularly interested in the changes that digitisation processes are bringing about in the higher education sector. He is also a member of the KRASP International Cooperation Committee, a member of the EFMD Advisory Board for Central and Eastern Europe, and a member of the board of the Forum Management Education Association. Since 2020, he has been the President of the International Advisory Board of the French university ISC Paris. In 2016-18, he was a member of the Council for Digitalisation at the Ministry of Digitalisation.
His achievements include several dozen English and Polish-language chapters, scientific articles and books published by, among others, Cambridge University Press, Emerald Publishing, Routledge, European Management Journal, Business Horizons, He is the author of the book ‘Digital Transformation’ (PWN, 2019) and the editor and co-author of the textbook ‘E-marketing – planning, tools and practice’ (Poltext, 2018), awarded by the Polish Academy of Sciences.
From 2012 to 2020, he served as Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Kozminski University, where he was responsible for the university's internationalisation strategy and marketing. He is also the coordinator of the Kozminski MBA Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence programme and postgraduate studies related to the digital economy: Internet Marketing – AI and Innovation, e-Commerce: AI and Innovation, Digital Business Transformation and AI, and Industry 4.0 Manager.
He is a visiting professor at institutions such as ESCP Europe, SKEMA Business School and École de Management de Normandie (France), ISCTE (Portugal), Nottingham Trent University (UK), Soongsil University (South Korea), Universidad del Pacifico (Peru), and University of Reykjavik (Iceland).
In 2015, he was awarded the LUMEN statuette presented to university management leaders. In 2017, he was awarded the Eduinspirator (FRSE) statuette for people who are active in the field of education, contributing to positive changes in their environment. In 2020, he was awarded the Star of Internationalisation award in the Scientific Research category by the Perspektywy foundation.
