Piotr Krawiec – PhD degree in telecommunications from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland (2011). Since 2012 he is an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Telecommunications (NIT), Warsaw, Poland. He was involved in 15 national and EU R&D projects in the area of IT networks, mobile technologies (including 5G), Internet applications and evaluation of cybersecurity. Since 2018, he has been involved in the development of the cybersecurity certification system in Poland. Since 2019, he is Technical Manager at NIT’s IT Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF). ITSEF NIT provides accredited evaluation and testing services for conformity assessment with security requirements contained in reference standards i.e. Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) and EN ISO/IEC 19790.
He is author or co-author of about 70 papers published in international and national journals and conference proceedings. His research areas include new network technologies and architectures, and cybersecurity testing and assessment of IT products.
