Michał Kibil

Senior partner, DGTL Kibil Piecuch i Wspólnicy S.K.A.

Michal is a lawyer and the co-founder of the DGTL law firm. He is responsible for the HR Practice and, along with Irek Piecuch, the Law of New Technologies Practice.

After graduating from WPiA at the University of Warsaw, Michal worked for two years for the Legal Department as the Department of Legality of Employment of the Chief Labor Inspectorate, which allowed him to deepen his understanding of how the most important regulatory authority in the legal world works.

After starting his application, Michal opened and the for several years led, the Warsaw office of one of the leading law firms in Krakow. He was the head of the HR Practice in two other law firms (one of them with international reach), and then proceeded to founding his own firm, “Kibil and Partners,” focused on HR Practices as well as IT Law. After merging with Irek Piecuch’s law firm “IMP” he became the co-founder and a senior partner at DGTL.

At DGTL, Michal supports employers in all matters pertaining to the management of the Human Relations sector. He also supports individual organizations in implementing modern IT solutions, partaking in their work from the concept stage, through suppliers’ selection, ending with the negotiation and preparation of necessary contracts.

He acquired diversified experience when it comes to working with clients at various stages of the company’s development: from supporting start-ups (including in the early stages of receiving funding based on ICO, crowdfunding and VC solutions), through securing know-how tech-companies, analyzing the legal background for the tool that’s being built, creating legal frames for the introduced technologies, up until ongoing counsel throughout the development of the finalized product. For the past few years he has been involved in the analysis of incoming modern technologies in the context of employment and labor law, the search for new uses of Blockchain tech, as well as the development of regulations regarding the flow of data.
