Acting Director General of the Częstochowa City Office

A graduate of the Częstochowa University of Technology with a degree in Computer Science, and the University of Business with a degree in Executive MBA and Property Management. President of the Board of the Association for the Development of the Information Society of the Northern Subregion of the Silesian Province and acting Director General of the City of Częstochowa.

As Director, he is responsible for the functioning of key elements of the city's digital infrastructure, including a fibre-optic network connecting over 150 municipal units, a monitoring system and over 150 IT systems supporting the work of the City Hall. Thanks to his commitment and the work of his team, it is possible to provide efficient and modern services to the residents of Częstochowa.

As President of the Association, he undertakes activities for the development of the information society in the northern subregion of the Silesian Province. A key area of his activity is increasing access to broadband Internet, particularly in rural and less developed areas. In cooperation with local government units, he creates conditions for the development of modern telecommunications infrastructure that supports the local community and entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, the Association currently manages a 340 km fibre optic network covering 30 municipalities in the region, which is being systematically expanded with new sections. Marek Czerwiński consistently works to build a digital future for the region, believing in its technological potential and the importance of innovation for socio-economic development.
