Emmanuel Kessler has joined Europol in 2020, as the head of the team in charge of Prevention & Outreach in EC3, the cybercrime centre of Europol. His team covers a large scope of activities as public private partnership, outreach, prevention & awareness, E-governance, cooperation with external and EU partners. Previously in 2017, he became the head of staff of the national cybercrime unit in France (OCLCTIC). He was in charge of international cooperation and EU matters, operational coordination. He started to work on cybercrime in 2011, as cyber cooperation officer in the Department of international cooperation (DCIS) of the French Ministry of Interior, after 10 years dedicated to bilateral cooperation on security matters.
