Col. Jacek Żygólski

Director of the National Allied Radio Frequency Agency (NARFA POL)

Col. Jacek Żygólski, a graduate of the Technical School of Electrical Engineering in Nowy Sącz and the Faculty of Electronics of the Military University of Technology. In the years 1999-2003, a platoon commander in the Military University of Technology, and then an engineer at the Institute of Communication Systems of the Military University of Technology in the teletransmission and data transmission team. In the years 2003 - 2013, he served in the Communications Investment Office, the ICT Networks Management Center and the Departmental Center for ICT Networks and Services Management, being responsible for the process of preparing telecommunications investments and ICT services implemented for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces. In the years 2013-2016, he served in NATO structures (NCI Agency and SHAPE J6) as an officer responsible for operational CIS planning. From 2016 in the National Allied Radio Frequency Agency (NARFA POL), initially as the Head of the Frequency Coordination Department, Deputy Director and from 2023 as the Director. Member of the Preparatory Group for the World Radiocommunication Conference WRC'23 as part of the European Conference of Postal Administrations and Telecommunications (CEPT). Privately, he is interested in the history of the Polish Army in the interwar period.
