Bartosz Furgała

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Central Cybercrime Bureau

Colonel Bartosz Furgała, he has been serving in the Police force for 20 years. He is graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration the Cathedrals of Public International Law and Doctor of Laws in the field of constitutional law at Maria Skłodowska - Curie University in Lublin. He is also a graduate of the Police Academy in Szczytno.
He has considerable professional experience, gained in the analytical division and in international operations for the Polish Police. In 2011, he assumed the role of Deputy Director of the National Police Headquarters (NPH) Legal Office. He subsequently assumed the role of Deputy Director of NPH Cabinet for Legal Affairs in 2013. Since 2015, he has been employed by the Internal Affairs Bureau of the NPH. From 2017 to 2021, he fulfilled the role of Polish Police Laison Officer at the Polish Embassy in London. In 2021, he was appointed Head of the Rzeszów Division of the Bureau of Internal Affairs of the Police, assuming the role of Commander of the Bureau of Internal Affairs of the Police three years later.
In May 2024, he was appointed Deputy Commander of the Central Cybercrime Bureau (CCB). He is responsibilities include international cooperation, supervision of operational work and coordination of the work of six CCB fields.
He has participated in a number of training courses and sessions on operational work, diplomatic protocol and strategic management.
He is fan of Italian motoring from the 1980s and 1990s and is an passionate about skiing.
